About

Cecilia Fareri

My name is Cecilia, and my life's journey has been a tapestry of experiences that have shaped my passion for yoga and its transformative power.

Originally from Italy, I've had the opportunity to live in various countries, including cities such as Zagreb and Teheran. My time in Iran was marked by both love and fear during the war with Iraq. Throughout my life, sports and dance have been my companions, leading me to become a Zumba teacher.

In Switzerland, I spent two decades in the corporate world, but life's challenges guided me towards a more mindful path. After experiencing loss and health issues, I discovered yoga, and it became my anchor in turbulent times. Through this practice, I found inner peace and restored balance in my body and mind.

Yoga, for me, is a powerful tool for self-discovery and healing. It helps release tension and build strength, but beyond the physical, it's a journey to the heart and soul. With breathing techniques, meditation, and asanas, we can rediscover our inner strength and tranquility.

My deepest wish is to share the gift of yoga with others, helping them find joy and trust in their bodies, minds, and souls. Together, we'll work towards achieving balance and becoming the temples of our own souls. Our retreat offers a warm and welcoming space for people from all walks of life, coming together to embrace the beauty of yoga and the unity it brings.

About

Gurumaa Vrindaji

Gurumaa Vrindaji showed extraordinary signs of a mystic in the making early in life. From the very beginning she was being blessed by mystics and sages right at her home. From the tender age of nine, Gurumaa would put such questions before her school teachers and others that they would be surprised by her sharp intellect and deep insights in spirituality. Those around her felt it remarkable that a child of her age could ask such questions.

Gurumaa received her education from an English convent school. Once it so happened that a sage came to her school to deliver a talk on moral science. Gurumaa stood up and asked the Sage: Who is God? Have you experienced His presence? Are you reading about God from the scripture or are you saying what comes from your own experience? The sage did not answer her questions but went straight to the Principal. When Gurumaa and her parents were called to the Principal's office, the sage requested that their child with her exceptional abilities be trained to spread the message of God. From an early age, Gurumaa showed a special affinity towards the seers. She would listen to their talks and ask them various questions. They would happily answer all her queries as they knew she was not asking from curiosity alone. Gurumaa also started writing poetry at an early age. These poetic expressions came from the depth of her heart. They are her innocent offerings to the divine where the divine is seen as the beloved and sometimes as friend. During her childhood, she used to meditate in silence and liked to listen to the philosophy of Vedanta.

One day, she went into deep Samadhi [union] meditation at cremation ground which was the place of dead bodies, everyone around her was surprised to see her like this. Many of her family members thought she had some mental illness but she was in such a spiritual stage which is beyond.

Gurumaa had also begun in her own way to deliver satsang even when she was in school. After school was over, she would rush to a place where she would deliver her satsang. People were drawn to her and made every endeavor to be a part of her sessions. She has full faith in ancient Ayurvedic treatments and Yoga and conduct training classes in her Aashram also.
